Noushaz Mahini Tehrani is a Rome based designer specialized in product design.

Noushaz's designs reflect her international, multi-cultural background and multi-disciplinary academic studies - design studies in Tehran and Italy along with a degree in Art and Sociology from the United Kingdom. She lived and studied in India completing a post-graduate diploma in oriental philosophy.

Her creative repertoire of expressive interpretations is coupled with a flavour of the Orient, which projects a subconscious emotional component to promote cultural communication. Her designs have been judged to be thought provoking; often ironic; expressive and sometimes romantically sensual. At an exhibition in Rome Noushaz was awarded the Best Design prize for "My World", a table which forges a link between her two multicultural worlds and social harmony.

Noushaz uses new technology combined with hand craftsmanship, to demonstrate an interaction between different artistic languages and society. Through her personalized designs, these materials and sculptures take on a new personality and identity which she enlivens with vivacity and sentiment.

Her designs have been exhibited in various European cities and private collections.
